Our Big Draw Drawing for Today

This afternoon Dylan and I took a good look at this gel pen carousel I bought at Costco a few weeks ago:

And next thing you know, we were working away together on this picture which we’ve decided would be our Big Draw picture for the day. We worked in a humungous sketch book that we like to draw in together. Mommy drew the freight cars and occupants, and the big top tent, and decorated the back engine. Dylan drew the front and back steam engines, decorated the front steam engine and colored all of the freight cars.

Can you tell we had a great time drawing this picture together?

This is so fun, drawing together. I love it. And what an inspiring bunch of pens. Such colors. Take care, suki PS I like Ian Rankin very much.

Absolutely adorable! Love it. And wow, that’s a whole lotta gel pens. Kinda makes me wish I were more into the whole gel pen craze…don’t care much for the flow…I’m kind of old fashioned that way. LOL

Suki, soulbrush, I love that you both like crime fiction! Amanda, the gel pens are great. We find some of them take a bit of time for the ink to start flowing, but once it does, the colors are just amazing. They’re archival, too. Teli, yep, wish they could fix the gel pen flow issue, but with these pens, we find that shaking them seems to work to start the ink flowing.

Cute drawing and I WANT those pens. Glad to see what you are talking about. My costco membership card ran out, so I’m wondering where else I could pick these up…maybe Michael’s. Your blog has such a nice look, I like it.
